Zhytomyr region completes sugar beet harvesting season
Department of Agri-Industrial Development and Economic Policy of Zhytomyr region reportes that sugar beet harvesting in the region is at its final stage.

The harvesting season began on time, but due to rainfalls, harvesting had to be temporarily suspended. Despite this, field work is currently being carried out according to the schedule.
Sugar beets are harvested from the area of 17.1 thousand hectares, which is 91.9% of the projected area. The average yield this year amounts to 450.0 centners/ha. The total volume of the sugar beet crop reaches 769.5 thousand tonnes.
