Zhytomyr agrarians are preparing for the 2023 sowing in conditions of war
In spring of 2023, Ukrainian farmers will have a second sowing during the war.
It is reported by zhitomirnews.
According to the operational data of Department of Agri-industrial Development and Economic Policy of Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, in 2023 the total area under agricultural crops can be increased by 28.7 thousand hectares or by 3%, compared to 2022, and will amount to 1,114.2 thousand hectares.
It is also forecasted the increase in sugar beets sown area by 5.8 thousand hectares or by 107%.
