In total, since the beginning of the production season, sugar factories of the region received 810 thousand tonnes of raw materials, of which 780 thousand tonnes were processed and 110 thousand tonnes of sugar were produced.

Sugar beets were harvested from 21 thousand hectares, or 48% of the total area. The average yield is recorded at 43,2 t/ha, which is higher than last year. Over the past week, sweet roots were harvested from 2.4 thousand hectares.
