Two sugar refineries of «Astarta» began sugar refining season
On September, 14 and 23 Yaresky and Globyno Sugar Refineries, part of «Astarta-Kyiv» agro-industrial holding, began sugar beet processing.
In 2016/17 MY Yaresky Sugar Refinery produced 68,8 ths t of sugar and processed 469,6 ths t of sugar beet, while Globyno refinery produced 78,3 ths t of sugar,and processed 553,3 ths t of sugar beet.
In the rating of the most powerful sugar refineries of 2016/17 MY Globyno Sugar Refinery took the eighth position, and Yaresky Sugar Refinety — the ninth.
