Two more Astarta sugar refineries began sugar beet processing
Kobeliatsky and Novoorzhytsky sugar refineries, part of «Astarta-Kyiv» Agro-Industrial Holding, began sugar refining season on October 2 and 3, respectively.
In MY 2016/17 Kobeliatsky Sugar Refinery produced 61,6 thousand tonnes of sugar and processed 431,6 thousand tonnes of sugar beet, while Novoorzhytsky Sugar Refinery — 60,9 thousand tonnes of sugar from 446 thousand tonnes of sugar beet.
