Rabobank sees global sugar deficit of 4,3 million tonnes in 2019/2020
Rabobank on Wednesday forecast there would be a global sugar deficit of 4,3 million tonnes in 2019/2020 following a small surplus of 1,1 million tonnes in the prior season.
It is reported by Reuters.
The bank, in a quarterly report, said the deficit was driven partly by projected declines in output in India, Thailand and the European Union.
