Poltava region harvested almost 2 million tonnes of sugar beets

This year, farmers of Poltava region harvested almost 2 million tonnes of sugar beets.

It is reported by «Uriadovyi Kurier».

1 million 75 thousand tonnes of sugar beets were harvested from the area of almost 26 thousand hectares, the average yield amounted to 415 centners/ha (9,5 centners/ha more than last season).
