Global sugar production is estimated up 8 million tonnes — USDA

Global production is estimated up 8.2 million tonnes year-over-year to 183.5 million with higher production for Brazil and India expected to more than offset a decline for Thailand and Pakistan.

It is reported by USDA in its November report.

Consumption is anticipated to rise to a new record due to growth in markets including India and Pakistan.
