Belarus produced the first sugar from 2017-harvest
According to the Association of Sugar Producers «Belsahar», on August, 30 Gorodeysk Sugar Refinery began sugar beet processing.
The production capacities of the mill provide processing of about 10 ths. t of sugar beet per day.
In the coming days it is planned to launch Skydelsk Sugar Refinery, Slutsk Sugar Refinery and Zhabinkovsk Sugar Refinery. The production capacities of this four refineries will ensure the processing of about 36 ths. t of sugar beet per day.
