«A’SPIK GROUP» increased sugar output by 20%
Despite last year's "subsidence" of sugar production in Ukraine by 20%, «A'SPIK GROUP» refineries increased sugar output by 12 thousand tonnes or 20%.
It is reported by the company on its Facebook-page.
In particular, in 2019, Khmelnytsk region produced over 72,000 tonnes of sugar, of which 46 thousand tonnes were produced at Starokostiantyniv sugar refinery, and 26,4 thousand tonnes were produced at Shepetivka sugar refinery. In fact, such results reached 5% of the total volume of “sweet” production of Ukraine, which amounted to 1,48 million tonnes.
«A'SPIK GROUP» explains that in Starokostiantyniv production was increased due to partnerships with local agricultural enterprises, which increased sugar beet harvested areas, and the introduction of new technologies. At the same time, Shepetivka managed to increase the efficiency of sugar beet processing by modernizing production facilities and increasing sugar content.
